Tribe Consulting started in 2014 with a simple belief: that world-class operations could be built from Pakistan and trusted by clients anywhere. We began in BPO and business process management — answering calls, supporting customers, running campaigns — and earned a reputation for doing it exceptionally well.
Over the next decade we did something few outsourcing companies do: we didn't just serve industries, we built companies inside them. Healthcare. Restaurants. Real estate. Recruitment. Logistics. Each one a real business, solving a real problem — and each one a place to prove technology before offering it to the world.
When AI arrived, we were ready. Because we already operated real businesses, we could build AI that works in production, not just in demos. Today Tribe is an AI-native operations group: human experts and autonomous AI, working together, across a family of companies.

Modood Ahmed is the Founder and CEO of Tribe Consulting and the entrepreneur behind the wider Tribe ecosystem — a serial builder of real businesses powered by technology, AI and exceptional people.
His journey began in Karachi in 2007. He arrived with PKR 6,000 in his pocket and started on the frontline of Pakistan's emerging outsourcing industry — taking calls, learning operations, and understanding customers, people and performance from the inside. After studying information technology, he sharpened his craft in roles at TRG, IBEX Global and oDesk, learning the business thoroughly before ever attempting to lead one.
Those early years — including an entrepreneurial setback — taught him a lesson that still defines Tribe: ambition alone doesn't build a lasting company. Durable growth takes financial discipline, capable teams, transparent systems, operational consistency, and the patience to earn trust one commitment at a time.
In January 2014, Modood founded Tribe Consulting with five people and no institutional capital. Built organically — through reinvestment, client trust and disciplined execution — it grew into one of the largest BPO and business-process organizations in Pakistan, now more than 2,000 professionals across a multi-country delivery network.
For Modood, 2,000 is never just a headcount. It's first jobs, first salaries, financial independence and thousands of families touched by meaningful work — and many who joined at the start of their careers have become trainers, managers, technologists and leaders in their own right. That human impact is how he measures success.
Today he is leading Tribe's shift from a conventional outsourcing business into an AI-native intelligent-operations group. Across Tribe Consulting, CodingKey and a portfolio of sector ventures, the group combines autonomous AI, enterprise platforms, managed operations and human expertise to solve real problems in healthcare, restaurants, recruitment, real estate, logistics, industrial operations and customer experience.
His philosophy rests on integrity, transparency, competence and systems that don't depend on any single person. He believes a founder's job isn't to be indispensable, but to build capable leaders, repeatable processes and an institution strong enough to keep growing beyond him — a globally respected institution, built from Pakistan, that creates meaningful careers and exports world-class services and technology.

Tahir Rasheed
Co-founder of Tribe and Managing Director of the group. Since 2005, Tahir has built two decades of experience across BPO, recruitment, digital marketing, business development and organizational leadership. He co-founded Tribe in 2014 and helped grow it from a five-person startup into an international organization. A Google Ads–certified professional and lifelong learner, he's focused on AI, business transformation, leadership, and creating opportunity through technology, innovation and people development.
